The U.S. Armed Forces (Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, National Guard, Reservists....) defends our rights and keeps our country Free and Safe! It is our responsibility as AMERICANS to Honor, Respect, and Support our Troops!
All of our Troops are AMERICA'S MILITARY HEROES!!! When our nation calls on them to defend our freedoms, to protect us, or to help another Nation in harm's way - the Troops are there!!! They are depended on, needed, and get the job done.
In one way or another, you all know a military hero - spouse, brother, sister, mother, father, other relative, neighbor, high school acquaintance, or a close friend! We honor and thank all branches of the military and all that support them
in their efforts, as well as our valued allies.

| U.S. Army Spec. “J T “ (James Thomas) Kotlowski, Age 22. is a member of Bravo 5/5 ADA 2nd BCP, 1/9 Infantry stationed at Fort Lewis WA. JT arrived there on 8/8/05 after serving one year at Camp Ramadi in Iraq. His duty in Iraq was a gunner as a member of the Avenger crew. JT joined the Army on 11/20/03, spending basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, until 2/12/04 then went to Fort Bliss, TX. He left there on 4/23/04 for camp Hovey in South Korea until 8/6/04. JT will be discharged from the Army in mid-October 2006. JT graduated from Ripon WI High School in 2002. Upon his discharge thoughts of becoming a reservist in the National Guard or “getting a job” occupy his mind, though these thoughts may change from day to day! JT remarked that upon his return to the States, their stop in Kuwait sent these young soldiers to the nearest McDonalds, Pizza Hut & Burger King Restaurants for some “real food” that they really missed! JT is the Great-Nephew of Mary & Don Weiland (West Allis Sunshiners). Throughout his time served in Iraq, every time Mary & Don heard the name “Ramadi” on the TV news, No matter where they were in the house their eyes were “glued” to the screen and were always so relieved that God was still keeping him safe. We prayed daily for his safety and his return home. What a great feeling to have seen him in August 2005 & hug him the hardest we could! Thank You JT for your service & dedication to our country! Aunt Mary and Uncle Don |
