The Portage Yellow Thunder Ramblers, in Columbia County, encourage campers of all ages to join its chapter! Wisconsin Camper's Association members in this chapter reside in the Madison, Montello, Columbus, Pardeeville and Cambria-Friesland areas.


The Portage Yellow Thunder Ramblers' first campout of the season is the first weekend of May and continues through October. The monthly meeting and potluck are on Saturday evening. From November through April, meetings and potluck are held at member's homes on the first Sunday of each month. No campouts or meetings are held on holidays. Members camp in all types of units from tents to motorhomes.

June 15-17: Campvention at Indian Trails, Pardeeville
July 6 - 8: Grand Valley Campground, Kingston
August 3 - 5: Horicon Ledge, Horicon
August 17 - 19: Campvention at Rainbow's End, Reedsville
September 7 - 9: Fond du Lac County Park, Waupun
October 5 - 7: Derge County Park, Beaver Dam
